Featherdale Wildlife Park

Depart the pier via motorcoach and drive west through Sydney to Featherdale Wildlife Park. Operating since 1972, Featherdale Wildlife Park houses a great variety of wildlife, including kangaroos, koalas, wallabies, Australian reptiles, Tasmanian devils, wombats and various species of Australian birds.


Billy Tea Break

On arrival at the park, you are offered a Billy Tea Break, an Aussie tea consisting of lamingtons, Anzac biscuits and a vegemite sampler. The Tea Break features a 'Swaggie Talk' which will give you a brief insight on some of our Australian traditions.


Australian Wildlife

After the tea break you will have some time to stroll through the park at your leisure. Get up close and personal with the animals and hand feed a kangaroo, wallaby, or emu. Other wildlife you may spot could include dingoes, possums, owls, foxes and Tasmanian Devils.

Scenic Drive

Following the trail of Australia's early explorers, your coach will climb high into the Blue Mountains. Sit back and enjoy this awe-inspiring grand canyon of giant rock formations, geological history, and cascading waterfalls. Take in the beauty of the natural bushland and the many outlying western suburbs that form part of greater Sydney. Then you will drive through numerous small towns along the way that provide a weekend escape for many of the city's residents.


Cable Car, Echo Point

Arriving at the Blue Mountains, enjoy a ride on the world's steepest perpendicular railway that plunges 700 feet (213 metres) into the valley. Disembarking at the bottom, a short walk brings you to the unique cable car which returns you to the top of the mountain. Re-board the coach for the short drive to Echo Point.


Three Sisters, Jamieson Valley, Ruined Castle, Katoomba Falls, Burraborang Valley

At Echo Point enjoy some free time to explore. See the famous rock formation, the Three Sisters and relish awesome panoramic views of the Jamieson Valley, Mount Solitary, the Ruined Castle, Katoomba Falls and the Burraborang Valley, all offering memorable photo opportunities.


Koomurri Aboriginal Centre (optional)

Lunch

Track the Parramatta River before coming to the Parramatta CBD, the geographical centre of Sydney. Board your vehicle for approximately 30-minute transfer to the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Once at the bridge, the bridge climb team will conduct a quick health and safety assessment to ensure you're ready to go. You will receive all the outdoor gear you'll need for your climb based on the day's weather conditions and health and safety essentials. All you need to bring with you on the day is your sunglasses, comfortable shoes and a sense of adventure.


Guided Climb

With your climb leader as your guide, step by step you'll ascend the arches of the Bridge and enjoy the iconic views of Sydney, situated in one of the most beautiful harbours on earth. The Sydney Fish Market

Travel through Sydney's oldest village, The Rocks. This historic enclave is nestled in the shadow of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and depicts the heritage of two centuries along its narrow twisting streets. See a splendid mix of Victorian-era buildings alongside modern-day structures. During your drive through the city centre, your guide points out the magnificent Sydney Tower the Queen Victoria Building.

The coach continues east of the city to the most sought-after residential areas in Sydney. Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking for approximately 0.93 miles (about 1.5 kilometres), at times over uneven and cobblestone surfaces and inclines, with three-four steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and 20 steps at the sites visited. This tour is recommended for active guests in good physical condition, and can walk for up to 2.5 hours at a reasonable pace. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to wear lightweight, comfortable clothing with flat, closed-toe walking shoes, and bring sun protection, a light jacket, bottled water, and local currency for purchases from the ship. This tour may have limited departures on local, and annual, public holidays. The tour sequence may vary. As you look across Sydney Harbour, your guide offers details about the Royal Botanic Gardens, which can be seen in the distance, and the construction of the Sydney Opera House. Breathe in the fresh mountain air and relax as you marvel at a majestic landscape of waterfalls and awe-inspiring sandstone escarpments.

Then visit Scenic World where you will be provided an Ultimate Discovery Pass which you can use to ride the skyway, cableway, and railway, and stroll the 2.4km Scenic Walkway. Take in the spectacular mountain views. See the famous rock formation known as the Three Sisters and enjoy the splendid panoramic views of the Jamieson Valley, Mount Solitary and the Ruined Castle.
