Board the boat for this nature and wildlife sightseeing tour. Before settingsail the captain go over the safety briefing. Along the way the staff onboard the boat will talk about the city and the surrounding areas. There is a very good chance of seeing humpback whales very close to the coat. The boat captains are very experienced and know how to sail carefully in order for the whales to stay close to the boats.
Along the way the captain will also take you to the island of Sermitsiaq which is a melting glacier that provides a waterfall diving directly into the fiord. Many times groups of young play full seals and sea birds are spotted. Take pictures of the icebergs while enjoying the fresh air.

Board the coach for a wonderful tour around Nuuk, the Capitol and largest city in Greenland. See areas from the old Colonial Harbour to the suburbs of Nuussuaq and Qinngorput. Along the way, sites you will pass are the Parliament building, the culture center, downtown Nuuk, the Atlantic harbour, the skiing center at Mt. Quassussuaq, the small airport and the University, Ilisimatusarfik.
There will be stops along the way for picture taking and to stretch your legs. Enjoy the picturesque view overlooking the private boat harbor and the fiord by the cemetery.

Depart the pier by foot to The National Museum. Enjoy a guided walk through the old part of town - The Colonial Harbour. Pass the many different historic buildings, which are now part of the National Museum and the house and statue of the first missionary Hans Egede. Next, walk past the statue of The Mother of the Sea, that is situated in the shallow water, fully visible at low tide, but almost completely covered by water, at high tide. After the short through the city walk, join a local family for coffee and cake at their home. The local family will welcome you into their home and talk about life in Greenland present and past.
