Exkursionen in Mooloolaba

Australia Zoo & Wildlife Hospital

Visit the famous Australia Zoo and take a sneak peek into Australia's busiest wildlife hospital where you can watch vets saving endangered Australian animals.


Depart the pier for approximately 40-minute drive to the iconic Australia Zoo - the ultimate wildlife adventure and conservation destination. The founder was Steve Irwin nicknamed "The Crocodile Hunter", an Australian zookeeper, television personality, wildlife expert, environmentalist and conservationist. His wife, Terri Irwin, is an American-Australian naturalist, conservationist, author, and the owner of Australia Zoo.


A native Oregonian from the United States, she began an independent animal rehabilitation centre for injured predator mammals at age 22 while working for her family's trucking business. You will hear all about the conservation efforts of the onsite wildlife warrior team.


Get up close to cuddly koalas, waddling wombats, slithering snakes and cute kangaroos. Check out giraffes, rhinos, zebras, cheetahs and meerkats at the African Savannah, and majestic tigers and red pandas in South-East Asia. See free-roaming ring-tailed lemurs, giant Aldabra tortoises, colorful macaws and more on Bindi's Island. Watch a saltwater crocodile strike from the water's edge in the daily Wildlife Warriors show. You will have plenty of time to venture at your leisure and explore everything this amazing place has to offer. There are many wildlife shows to enjoy during your visit.


Enjoy approximately three and a half hours at the zoo during which time you can purchase snacks, lunch and refreshments at your own expense.


At the conclusion of your visit, re-board your coach for a return drive back to the pier.

Discover Noosa & the Sunshine Coast

Take in all the highlights of the Sunshine Coast on this ultimate full-day excursion.

Board your coach and make your way to the famous Buderim Ginger Factory. Wander around the ginger shop offering a large selection of ginger products including Buderim Ginger Beer and enjoy a morning tea flavoured with ginger. If ginger doesn't spark your interest, you can also head across the road to Nutworks for free tastings of Macadamia and chocolate.

Next, continue to the coastal township of Noosa where you will board the Noosa River ferry and head down the Noosa River into the heart of the town. Sit back and relax as your friendly captain provides commentary on the history, development and culture of this region.

After the ferry ride enjoy some free time to explore Hastings Street, a popular spot with a great atmosphere and a huge range or alfresco cafes, restaurants and boutiques lining the street opposite some of the most spectacular beaches the region has to offer. Lunch will be at your own expense.


At the conclusion of your visit, re-board your coach for approximately one hour return drive back to the pier.

Glasshouse Mountains Rainforest Walk

Enjoy one hour guided rainforest walk in the area known as the natural jewel of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.

Depart the pier for an approximately one hour scenic drive from the coast to the Mary Cairncross Reserve. The Reserve is a living museum of diverse plant and animal life and it comprises of 55 hectares of subtropical rainforest overlooking the heritage listed Glass House Mountains landscape.

Your local guide will take you on an approximate one-hour guided walk through the reserve. As you walk through the rainforest, take in the sound of the wildlife try to spot and hear as many of the 141 bird species as you can. You will see 700-year-old gum trees, large fig-trees, and Red Cedar make sure to watch your step as there are a lot of wallabies that dart across the track.

Next, head to the interactive Discovery Centre where you can learn even more about this diverse eco-system and its native flora and fauna. Offering the most spectacular views, the Discovery Centre features an elevated viewing platform and boardwalk and the Rainforest Education Centre with a combination of traditional interactive displays, multi-sensory experiences and exhibits.

Enjoy some free time to stroll around the viewing platform for spectacular views of the Glass House Mountains which were formed 25-27 million years ago from once an active volcano. These unique mountains are a cluster of thirteen hills that rise abruptly from the coastal plain on the Sunshine Coast. The highest hill is Mount Beerwah at 556 metres above sea level, but the most identifiable of all the hills is Mount Tibrogargan which from certain angles bears a resemblance to a face staring east towards the ocean.

At the conclusion of your visit, enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant before your return drive back to the pier.

Scenic Sunshine Coast

Queensland's Sunshine Coast is one of the most popular beach holiday destinations in Australia. Enjoy a coastal panoramic drive through sleepy beach communities and pristine picnic locations.

Travel through Mooloolaba heading north, passing Alexandra Headland, Coolum Beach, Peregian Beach, Marcus Beach, Castaways Beach and Sunrise Beach, finishing up at Sunshine Beach. Enjoy the ocean views to the right, as well as Noosa National Park on your left during the scenic drive. You will be surrounded by picture perfect Australian scenery, so don't forget to bring a camera!

A stop will be made in Noosa for approximately 90 minutes of free time to explore Hastings Street, a popular spot with great atmosphere and a huge range or alfresco cafes, restaurants and boutiques lining the streets.

At the conclusion of your visit, re-board your coach for the return journey back to the pier.

Sunshine Coast Hinterland Art, Wine & Cheese

Depart the pier for an approximately one-hour scenic drive in a mini-coaster from the coast to the Glass House Mountains in Queensland's Sunshine Coast. Arrive atop one of the Mountains at a well-positioned lookout where you'll enjoy scenic views of the Glass House Mountains from the lookout and then continue to Gerrard's Lookout for stunning vistas. These unique mountains were formed 25-27 million years ago and were once an active volcano.

A one hour drive will take you towards the quaint mountain top village of Montville. (Population approx.970). Settlement first occurred in Montville in the late 1880s. Montville has a true village charm. You will find a pleasant blend of Tudor, Irish and English cottages of log or stone, Swiss and Bavarian chalets, an old mill water-wheel, colonial and old Queenslanders and of course, one of the most spectacular and panoramic views over a coastal plain you could find in Australia. This is where you'll enjoy a delicious 2-course lunch in the peaceful surrounds of a local restaurant. Head to the Flame Hill Vineyard, perfectly positioned 420 meters above sea level the vineyard slopes consist of friable red scrub soils, draining to black clay creek pastures. At the Flame Hill Vineyard you will enjoy a tasting session with a selection of local wines. Move on Visit Mason Wines Mt Tamborine where the cellar door staff will guide you through Mason's extensive range with styles and varieties to suit all palates. Round out the day with a sample of delicious handmade Belgian style chocolates at a local chocolate store before the 40 minute return drive to the pier.
