DAY 2 - REYKJAVIK/ BLUE LAGOON
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning before departing for a Panoramic Reykjavik City Tour which includes some impressive landmarks like the Pearl, Hallgrímskirkja church and Höfði House. Enjoy some free time to explore the shops and sights before driving to the Blue Lagoon in the afternoon.
The Blue Lagoon natural geothermal spa is located in the middle of a beautiful lava field. Drive through Reykjavik's suburbs before entering into the surreal lava landscape of the Reykjanes peninsula. The water of the lagoon is 37-39 degrees centigrade (98 - 102 Fahrenheit) mineral rich and reputed for its healing properties. The blue colour and the high lava wall surrounding the Lagoon create quite a unique atmosphere. Dressing rooms and showers are provided for men and women separately. For hygienic purposes, it is expected (in line with local customs) to take a shower without swimwear before entering the Lagoon.
Following a two-course lunch at the Lava Restaurant and your visit to the lagoon you will return to your hotel in Reykjavik for an evening at your leisure. Dinner will be provided at the hotel this evening.

DAY 3 - GOLDEN CIRCLE
After breakfast at the hotel depart for the approximate 45 minute drive to beautiful Thingvellir National Park - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your visit to the Park allows you to experience one of Iceland's most outstanding sceneries. The area is surrounded by mountains and encompasses a vast lava plain of green moss and wild flowers.
Leaving Thingvellir you continue to the Geysir hot spring area. Here you will be surrounded by hissing springs and other geothermal phenomena. A two-course lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After lunch continue your drive to Gullfoss Waterfall. The "Golden Waterfall" is the most famous of the country's many waterfalls where the river Hvita drops 96 feet into two falls, creating an awesome spectacle.
Continue on to the Kerid Crater. Iceland is dotted with volcanic craters; Kerid is one of the more dramatic ones. Created by an explosion followed by implosion of its cone, it now has a lake at its bottom.
Return to Reykjavik and enjoy the evening at your leisure. A three- course dinner will be provided at a local restaurant.
