Discover Oxford, the City of Dreaming Spires, and the Christ Church College home to one of the largest of colleges in Oxford. Explore the history, and literary connections on your unforgettable stop to Shakespeare's Globe theatre where colourful stories are brought to life. The family home of Sir Winston Churchill, is your last stop, where guests can step back in time and see rooms left untouched from when it was last occupied by one of Britaitn's greatest leaders in the 1930s.

DAY 1 - LONDON/ CHARTWELL

Today is the first day of your tour, once you disembark your Silversea cruise. Travel out to Chartwell, to see the family home of Winston Churchill. Filled with treasures from every aspect of Churchill's life, the house provides an opportunity to explore the home of one of Britain's greatest leaders. Decorated as it was in the 1930s, guests can view rooms like the library, study, sitting room, and dining room displayed as if the family has never left.


A boxed lunch will be provided this afternoon.


Following your visit in Chartwell, return to London to check-in to your hotel. Dinner this evening is on your own.

DAY 2 - LONDON

A hearty English breakfast awaits you in the morning before your tour starts with a visit to Shakespeare's Globe theatre. Your Globe guide will bring the building to life, recreating colourful stories and describing the reconstruction process of the theatre. The Globe is the only building in London to have a thatched roof after the infamous Great Fire of London in 1666.


Afterwards, take a short panoramic tour of London before returning to the hotel.


The remainder of your afternoon and evening are at your leisure.

DAY 3 - LONDON/ OXFORD

Breakfast is provided this morning at the hotel, then head out to Oxford the City of Dreaming Spires situated in the Heart of England. A City of stunning architecture, history and culture that reveres learning. During the day, enjoy a short walking tour of the city to discover its' history and many literary connections. Guests will also get to visit the Sheldonian Theatre, Radcliffe Camera, and the Bodleian Library.


Lunch will be provided in Oxford this afternoon, before visiting Christ Church College, which is one of the largest Colleges in Oxford and was founded by Cardinal Wolsey in 1525. Its magnificent hall has famously been featured in scenes from the Harry Potter movies. After a full day in Oxford, return to London.


Dinner this evening is on your own account.

DAY 4 - CHARTWELL/ LONDON

Breakfast is provided at the hotel this morning before your transfer to the airport for your international flight home.
