Depart the pier for the scenic, approximately 75-minute drive to Singaraja, the former capital city of Bali Province during the Dutch occupation of the island. Upon arrival, proceed to the Banyuasri Market. During your guided visit, see abundant tropical fruit, vegetables and spices, and learn about the ingredients to be purchased and utilised for cooking Balinese dishes.


Lovina, Puri Bagus Resort and Cooking Class

Leaving the market, re-board your coach and drive to nearby Lovina, which consists of a string of coastal villages with popular beach resorts and volcanic, black-sand beaches. Upon arrival, proceed to the Puri Bagus Resort - Lovina, meet your chef and begin your interactive Balinese cooking class. Learn about and participate in the process of preparing a wide array of Balinese dishes, including tuna salad, chicken soup, fried rice or noodles, and black rice pudding.


Lunch and Recipes

Your Balinese cooking class is followed by a lunch consisting of the meals you've helped to create. You are also presented with recipes so you can duplicate the dishes in your own kitchen, and rekindle fond memories of your time in Bali. At the conclusion of your visit, re-board your coach and commence the approximately one-hour drive back to the pier.

Singaraja, Royal Palace and Gedong Kirtya Library

Depart the pier for the scenic, approximately 1.5-hour drive to Singaraja, the former capital city of Bali Province during the Dutch occupation of the island. Upon arrival, visit the Royal Palace of Singaraja. This historical palace, often referred as the 'Puri Agung Gede', was built in 1604. Following a guided walking tour of the palace, walk to the adjacent Gedong Kirtya Library. This wonderful library houses about 3,000 lontar books and Balinese manuscripts.


Ling Gwan Kiong Buddhist Temple

Your last stop is at the sacred Ling Gwan Kiong Buddhist Temple. Built in 1873, this beautifully constructed, red- and gold-coloured 'klentang' is accessible via a water bridge over a pond filled with pink and white lotus flowers. Gold Buddha statues and ornamentally decorated textiles are found everywhere. At the conclusion of your visit, re-board your coach and commence the approximately 1.5-hour drive back to the pier.

The payment for your Land Adventure is due in full on the same date as your final payment due for your cruise. DAY ONE - Tuesday, Dec.01, 2020 - Celukan Bawang/Ubud/Bali

Your day will start at the north-western part of the island, and upon the ship arrives you'll be warmly welcomed then proceed and boarding your comfortable motor coach / van at Celukan Bawang Pier.

Starting off from the pier of Celukan Bawang at the north-western part of the island, you'll first be transported to the small town situated in the northern part of the island to visit Singaraja Royal Palace, which is also often referred to as Puri Agung or Puri Gede, was built by Raja Ki Gusti Anglurah Pandji Sakti on march 30th., 1604. With the establishment of the Puri Gede Buleleng (Royal Palace of Singaraja), the beginning of the Kingdom of Buleleng had been marked. Historically Pandji Sakti once ruled from Java to East Indonesia. Although without any political power nowadays, the Royal family and the Royal Palace of Singaraja still represent an important part of North Bali's rich, cultural heritage. After touring the Royal Palace ground, re-joining your motor coach and proceed to the local restaurant located at Bali Handara Golf Course Bedugul where your lunch will be served. After lunch, enjoy a short scenic drive towards the Balinese Hindu Temple located on the edge of the lake namey Ulun Danu Bedugul temple, is a temple dedicated to the Goddess of the lake "Dewi Danu" on the edge of a huge crater. The dominant shines are Merus (pagoda). The temple was built in the 17th.century in worship of the many Hindu Trinity: Brahma, Wisnu, and Ciwa, as well as lake Goddess, Dewi Danu. The sight and cool atmosphere of the Bali uplands have made the lake and this temple a favorite sightseeing and recreational spot as well as a frequently photographed site. Ulun Danu Bedugul Temple can be traced back to the rise of the Mengwi Kingdom. The name of Ulun Danu is taken from the lake where the temple is built.

As your tour draws to a close, and before transferring to designated hotel (Maya Ubud Resort), where you'll stay for your accommodations during your valuable holiday on the island of Bali, you'll make your way to the final stop at the lush countryside called Luwus to visit Coffee Plantation. Upon arrival, a guided walk through shaded pathways and watch the locals at work as they process the local coffee with their traditional tools. And you'll have a good opportunity to enjoy a local coffee tasting before departing (free of charge) with an exception of Luwak Coffee.

After conclusion of your memorable visit, your motor coach then takes you directly to designated hotel (Maya Ubud Resort) for your accommodations during your valuable holiday on the island of Bali, situated on the edge of Ubud, commencing approximately an hour and 45-minute drive from Coffee Plantation.

Upon arrival at the hotel (Maya Ubud Resort), proceed to the Reception for Registration and Check - In, the remainder of the day is free at leisure until the time for Dinner.

Dinner tonight will be served at the restaurant in the hotel where you are staying (Maya Ubud Resort). Overnight at Maya Ubud Resort.


DAY TWO - Wednesday, Dec. 02, 2020 - Ubud/Bali


After breakfast At the restaurant in the hotel where you are staying (Maya Ubud Resort), proceed to the hotel lobby to meet your Tour Guide to depart for a full-day tour to visit several interesting places in Central Part of the island.

Depart from the hotel (Maya Ubud Resort), relax and enjoy the scenery of Central part of the island, a leisurely morning drive brings you towards the hamlet of Ceking, Gianyar District to visit Tegallalang, is famous for it magnificent beauty and the natural lush greenery that encompasses the entire area. The rice fields are situated in the northern part of Ubud, central part of Bali. The terrace lay-out of the place is what gives this one of the most unique appearances that the majority of the visitors rave about. It is channeled around with the traditional Bali mode of irrigation known as the Subak. Following your delightful visit, your journey continues on to the Monkey Forest situated on the edge of Ubud village to visit Ubud Monkey Forest locally called Mandala Suci Wenara Wana, is the sanctuary and natural habitat of the Balinese long-tailed monkey, scientific name Maccaca Fascicularis. About 1.049 monkeys live in this sanctuary, and they are divided into 6 groups, namely in front of main temple group, forest conservation group, central point group, eastern group, Michelin group, and cemeteries group. And Ubud Monkey Forest also has about 186 species of plants and trees in 12.5 hectares of forest. In the Monkey Forest, there are 3 temples namely Dalem Agung Padangtegal temple, Holy Springs Temple and Prajapati temple. The forest itself is owned by the Padangtegal community and is managed by Mandala Suci Wenara Wana management. The purpose of the management is to keep sacred the place and promote the Monkey Forest as an international tourist destination. Leaving Ubud Monkey Forest behind, proceed to the local restaurant located nearby Monkey Forest, where your lunch will be served. After lunch, re-joining your motor coach and your delightful visit continues on to the small village of Pejeng to visit an old Balinese Hindu Temple called Kebo Edan, is thought to have been built in the 13th century after Kertanegara conquered the Kingdom of Bali in 1282 AD. Many historical artifacts of Pre - Hinduism remain hidden at the ancient temple of Kebo Edan, which translates to "Crazy Buffalo". This refers to the animals which guard the cave - two buffalo carvings. It formerly functioned as a place of worship for the Bhairawa sect, the remains of which are still housed in the temple. The most spectacular is a huge sculpture of Bhairawa, symbolizing the God of death, and Shiva, who is shown to be dancing. After touring the temple ground, enjoy a short scenic drive to the countryside of Bedulu to visit Goa Gajah Monastery, an ancient Hindu monastery built in the 11th.century during the reign of the most famous king Udayana. This ancient monastery was used as a place of retreat and meditation by both Hindu and Buddhist monks, as well as the king and his descendants during the kingdom era in Bali. This place was discovered in 1923, and excavated in 1954. As your tour draws to a close and before returning to the hotel where you are staying, you'll make your way to the final stop at the village of Kemenuh also known as a Balinese woodcarver's community. A final stop will be definitely made at a woodcarving workshop in the village of Kemenuh. Be sure to observe the skilled carvers, who turn slabs of teak and ebony wood into masks, religious figures and intricate wall decorations.

After conclusion of your memorable visit, your motor coach then takes you back directly to the hotel (Maya Ubud Resorts), where you are staying during your holiday on the island of Bali, commencing approximately a 45-minute drive from Kemenuh Village.

Arrive back to the Hotel (Maya Ubud Resorts), the remainder of the day is free at leisure until the time for Dinner, and a good opportunity to get shower and refresh before re-joining the next program. As evening descend after you've got refresh, proceed to the hotel lobby to meet your Tour Guide to depart and re-joining program for having Dinner.


Depart from the hotel where you are staying (Maya Ubud Resorts), you'll be transported directly to the local restaurant for having Dinner with Dance Performance. After Dinner and Dance Performance concluded, your motor coach then brings you back to the hotel where you are staying (Maya Ubud Resorts), commencing approximately a 45-minute drive from the local restaurant.


Arrive back to the Hotel (Maya Ubud Resorts), and the remainder of the day is Free at Leisure. Overnight at Maya Ubud Resorts.

DAY THREE - Thursday, Dec 03, 2020 - Ubud/Benoa/Bali


After breakfast, Luggage Collection and Check - Out, proceed to the hotel lobby to meet your Tour Guide to depart for a full-day tour to visit several interesting places located in the Central part of the island before transferring to the pier of Benoa for your onward journey.

Depart from the hotel (Maya Ubud Resorts), relax and enjoy the scenery of a 45-minute drive brings you toward the customary village of Cangi, Batuan Kaler in Gianyar Regency to visit and interact with the local communities while observing their daily activities. Upon arrival, then join your Tour Guide as you walk from the village's square, where you'll begin your visit to observe up-close the Elementary School where local children are studying, and there is a good opportunity to interact with the students. In Indonesia, all citizens must undertake twelve years of compulsory education which consists of six years at elementary level and three each at middle and high school levels. Schools in Indonesia are run either by the government (negeri) or private school (swasta). Following your delightful visit, you'll stroll around the customary village of Cangi to visit Lembaga Perkreditan Desa (LPD), is a financial institution with two unique characteristic, as an institution owned, and governed by the customary village (Desa Adat/Desa Pekraman), it is fully integrated into Balinese culture. Like no other financial institution, it is inclusive in outreach, covering almost all customary villages of Bali and the vast majority of its population. The LPD is designed as an integral part of Balinese culture. Then, proceed next door to visit the Village Health Center (PUSKESMAS), is a useful place for the local communities for their medical treatment in this modern age. In Bali both traditional and modern health practices are employed. The government runs a three-tiered system of community health centers with PUSKESMAS (community health centers) at the top. Leaving Village Health Center behind, a guided walk through a village's square to visit a Village's Head Office, is an office where the local communities manage matters in accordance with citizenship administrative services. Villages in Bali organize themselves in a great variety of ways. And you'll make your way to the final site in this customary village to visit a beautiful village's temple of Pura Puseh with it remaining cultural heritage. The 11th-century temple features a grand complex of shrines that face a separate large communal hall from where most visitors start their visit. After your delightful visit has completed in this customary village, re-joining your motor coach and you'll make your way to the village of Celuk, known as a center of making gold and silver jewelry in Bali. The production of high quality gold and silver jewelry, including rings, bracelets and amulets worn for ceremonial use and special occasion, has been a tradition in Bali for many years. Upon arrival, explore the jewelry - making process and browse the high quality creations. The guests will have an opportunity to purchase the products. Then, as your tour draws to a close, you'll make you final stop at the local restaurant located in Sanur area, where your lunch will be served.

After lunch and conclusion of your memorable visit, your motor coach then takes you directly to the pier of Benoa where your ship awaits, commencing approximately a 45-minute drive from the Local restaurant in Sanur area.

Upon arrival at the pier of Benoa where your ship awaits and re-joining your onward journey, and before starts boarding, please kindly check your personal belonging and any other valuable items, then make sure that nothing left behind in the motor coach.


Please note: This Mid-Voyage Land Adventure requires an extensive amount of walking for approximately 1.5 miles (about 2.5 kilometres), at times over uneven, rocky, sandy, grassy, slippery, and natural surfaces and inclines, with about 250 steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and at the sites visited. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility, and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to wear lightweight, comfortable clothing and closed-toe walking shoes. Guests must carry their passports and ship's ID at all times. Guests must be at least 18 years old to be served alcoholic beverages. The tour sequence and itinerary may vary.
