DAY 1 - HONG KONG
Arriving in Hong Kong you are met outside of Customs & Immigration and transferred to the Hotel. If you arrive on an early flight and wish to guarantee immediate check-in upon arrival, please make these arrangements with Silversea well in advance.
The balance of the day is at your leisure. Whether this is your first visit or you've been here many times, there's always something delightful to discover here. Glittering shopping malls, bountiful street markets, exotic ingredients and world-class dining; bustling streetscapes and tranquil temple gardens - whatever your heart desires. All meals are on your own account.
Overnight at the Kowloon Shangri-La - Hong Kong
DAY 2 - HONG KONG / MACAU
Breakfast is served this morning at the hotel. Check out of the hotel and store your largest pieces of luggage with the bell staff. Your luggage will be picked up and transferred to the ship on embarkation day. Please pack an overnight bag for your trip to Macau.
Your driver arrives to transfer you to the Shun Tak Ferry Terminal for the high-speed jetfoil trip across the Pearl River. Immigration formalities will take place when exiting Hong Kong and when entering Macau.
Following these required procedures, claim your luggage at the Macau Luggage Counter after immigration. Proceed to the Arrival Hall. Once there, locate the Silversea representative who will assist you with your shuttle bus transfer to the UNESCO sites such as the Ruins of St. Paul, which is Macau's most famous landmark and symbol perched atop one of the island's seven hills. In addition a short Macau city tour is included that takes you to Senado Square and Kun Iam Temple.
Sample some delicious tart tasting at a local bakery and then a Macanese lunch will be provided prior to check-in at the Four Seasons. Dinner is on your own this evening. Enjoy the free time and try your luck at the nearby casino or explore the hotel's vast facilities.

DAY 3 - MACAU
Following breakfast this morning, you'll have to decide whether to spend the day luxuriating at the hotel, or exploring this last outpost of the Portuguese empire. Macau has re-invented itself as 'Asia's Las Vegas' since becoming part of China in 1999 and is now world famous for its fantastic variety of world-class entertainment.
A Dim Sum lunch will be served at the Zi Yat Heen restaurant. The afternoon is on your own. Some optional tours on your own could include Taipa Houses representing the charming Portuguese architectural style, the Mandarin House built before 1869 and was the traditional residence of a prominent Chinese literary figure Zheng Guanying, or stroll down the Rua de Cunha, a popular destination for Portuguese, Macanese, Chinese, and Italian cuisine.
The historic center is the product of cultural exchanges between East and West spanning over 400 years. It is currently the oldest, most complete and consolidated collection of European architecture standing intact on Chinese territory today.
Dinner is on your own.
Overnight at the Four Seasons - Macau
DAY 4 - MACAU / EMBARK HONG KONG
Enjoy an early breakfast at the hotel before your return journey to Hong Kong. Once you have completed the re-entry formalities at the Shun Tak Ferry Terminal and claimed checked luggage, you are met by the local Silversea representative in the Arrival Hall and transferred to the pier for your embarkation for your Silversea cruise.

Your large luggage should be checked with the bell staff at the Kowloon Shangri-La. You will only need a small suitcase for your time in Macau. Baggage allowance on the jetfoil is one piece of maximum 20kg and one carry-on bag limited to 60x20x35cm per person.
Visa Information:
Please secure your visa for China prior to arrival. If you are combining this land program with a cruise itinerary that also calls on the People's Republic of China you should obtain a multiple entry visa. The consulate may request a Letter of Support listing the program details. If so please email general@traveladvisers.com.hk with a clear copy of your passport details along with the land programs name and dates of operation. They will email the letter of support directly back to you.
