Day 2- GOLDEN CIRCLE
After breakfast at the hotel this morning depart for the approximate 30 mile drive to beautiful Thingvellir National Park - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Leaving Thingvellir you continue to the Geysir hot spring area. Here you will be surrounded by hissing springs and other geothermal phenomena. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After lunch continue your drive to Gullfoss Waterfall. The "Golden Waterfall" is the most famous of the country's many waterfalls where the river Hvita drops 96 feet into two falls, creating an awesome spectacle. Continue on to the Kerid Crater. Iceland is dotted with volcanic craters; Kerid is one of the more dramatic ones. Created by an explosion followed by implosion of its cone, it now has a lake at is bottom. Return to Reykjavik and enjoy the evening at your leisure. Dinner will be on your own.

Day 3- REYKJAVIK/ BLUE LAGOON
Breakfast is included at the hotel again this morning. Enjoy some free time to explore the shops and sights on your own this morning. Following lunch (on your own account) meet back at the hotel for an afternoon excursion to the Blue Lagoon.
Depart for some relaxing time at the Blue Lagoon natural geothermal spa located in the middle of a beautiful lava field. Drive through Reykjavik's suburbs before entering into the surreal lava landscape of the Reykjanes peninsula. The water of the lagoon is 37-39 degrees centigrade (98 - 102 Fahrenheit) mineral rich and reputed for its healing properties. The blue colour and the high lava wall surrounding the Lagoon create quite a unique atmosphere. Dressing rooms and showers are provided for men and women separately. For hygienic purposes, it is expected (in line with local customs) to take a shower without swimwear before entering the Lagoon.
