The first stop takes you up hill to the Fort Charlotte - a former British garrison completed in 1806. The Fort houses a collection of paintings depicting the history of the Black Caribs. There are also cannons, a signal station and a panoramic view of the northern Grenadines, the capital Kingstown and its environs.
The tour continues to the St. Vincent Botanical Gardens- one of the oldest in the western hemisphere. At the Botanic Gardens, see a wide variety of tropical flora which includes a breadfruit tree derived from a suckling brought to St. Vincent by Captain Bligh. Our national parrot the endangered -Amazona Guildingii may also be observed in captivity.
Continue to Mesopotamia Valley commonly called "The Food Basket" because of the rich and fertile crops and fruit trees that are grown here. The crops harvested include bananas, for which the islands of the Lesser Antilles were known, and are a major contributor to the local economy.
The tour then concludes at a restaurant where you may savour local rum punch and fruit juices - all complimentary. From here, rejoin your ship in Kingstown.

'Heave ho me hearties' and clamber aboard your power boat to be taken on a fabulous trip up the Vincentian coastline. Leave town behind as you head to one of the beautiful snorkel sites for a close-up experience with the colourful marine life. Crystal clear waters and sparkling black sand make for the perfect wind-in-your-hair sail along the coast.
St. Vincent's coastline is mountainous with jagged peaks rising straight out of the sea. A coastal tour will be given with photo stops at Fort Charlotte, the Bat Cave and other interesting sites. Then head to a sparkling, black sand beach for a swim or to snorkel.
After your swim, continue on to a photo stop at Wallilabou, the site where 'Pirates of the Caribbean' was filmed. See if you recognize the famous parts of the movie. Your camera is a must have for this stop as you imitate the swagger of Cap'n Jack Sparrow.
Your captain knows a good deal about the whales and dolphins, which are frequently seen along the coast and will not hesitate to point them out should they be in the vicinity. During your tour, refreshing drinks will be served.

Depart the pier for the short transfer to Villa Beach. Located on the south coast of the volcanic island of St. Vincent, this idyllic, golden-sand beach offers splendid views of magnificent Young Island, along with beautiful yachts and boats passing by and anchored at sea.
Upon arrival at Villa Beach, you are welcomed with a refreshing drink, then escorted to your personal beach chair. During your visit, bask in the warm Caribbean sun, swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean Sea, take a stroll on the beautiful beach and be swept away by the soft sounds of the waves lapping the shore. At the conclusion of your visit, re-board your coach and commence the short transfer back to the pier.
Please note: This tour involves a minimal amount of activity, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and approximately 10 feet (three metres) of uneven pavement to cross to access the beach. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to wear a swimsuit under a cover-up with beach shoes or sandals, and bring sun protection, a towel, and cash for souvenirs, snacks and/or lunch from the ship.
