Some three and a half nautical miles to the northeast of St Kilda, and adjacent to the small island of Boreray, are Stac Lee and Stac an Arnim. Stac an Arnim is the larger of the two spires of rock jutting up from the often wild and churning Hebridean waters. At more than 190 meters (623 feet) in height it is Britain’s tallest sea stack.
