The name Nevis is derived from “Nuestra Senora de Las Nieves” which means “Our Lady of the Snows”, because of the cloud capped mountain reminding Columbus of snow. Your tour departs from Oualie Beach on the northern coast of Nevis. Paddle along the coast, past luxurious beachfront homes around to Pelican Point where the national birds congregate to rest in between diving for fish.
The snorkel stop is located in a tranquil bay where there is an abundance of wildlife. After snorkeling the virgin reefs, the kayak run continues along Pinney's Beach, where you can feast your eyes on the beauty of palm-fringed beach and the towering Mount Nevis rising majestically into the clouds.
This exciting tour breaks at Pinney's for refreshments and some leisure time on the beach to beach-comb, swim or sun-bathe.
The last leg brings the tour to an end on the beach adjacent to the spectacular Four Seasons Resort. Transportation then takes you back to the ship.

A short drive through the quaint villages of Nevis takes you to the stables where your adventure begins. Following a brief orientation, mount your horse for the ride through the villages that traverse Barnes Ghaut and Cotton Ground, which derives its name from the cotton grown there in the past.
Your journey continues with a relaxing ride along the beach that offers up scenic views of majestic coconut trees, historical attractions such as the ruins of Fort Ashby and the St. Thomas' Anglican Church, while on the other side the clear crystalline waters of the Caribbean Sea lap gently against the shore with the sister island of St. Kitts in the background.
At the end of the ride enjoy a refreshing local tropical drink as the horses take a cooling bath before returning back to the ship.

You will be welcomed on board a custom designed Maxi-Cat by the crew before a short safety briefing is given to all participants.

This tour combines major historical sites with the uniquely designed Botanical Garden. Begin with a visit to two museums; Hamilton House, the birthplace of Alexander Hamilton, one of the founding fathers of the United States and which houses the Alexander Hamilton Museum, as well as the Museum of Nevis History which houses the largest collection of Horatio Nelson's memorabilia in the Western Hemisphere.
Depart the museum and proceed to the Botanical Garden, en route you will also see historical churches such as Fig Tree Church which houses the original marriage certificate of Lord Horatio Nelson and Fanny Nisbett. A stop will also be made at the Old Manor Hotel.
The Botanical Gardens feature a wide array of diversified tropical flora collected from the islands and around the world. See the cactus garden, bamboo grove, water-lily pools, and orchid and tropical fruit gardens. A spectacular glass conservatory houses a tropical rainforest and a vast Mayan temple with waterfalls, ponds and streams.
