Depart the pier for the approximate 30-minute drive south to the majestic Vallarta Botanical Gardens.  Upon arrival, receive an orientation to this lush area and make a comfort stop before beginning your hike through the gardens. As you make your way quietly along the trail, keep a sharp-eye for the different species of birds making their homes in the gardens.


Located on 20 acres of land, the botanical site features an amazing collection of 3,000 different species of plants, and many species of birds.  The native forests are home to a vast array of trees, orchids, bromeliads and vines-plus animal life. Birds that can be observed here include squirrel cuckoos, elegant trogons and military macaws. Jaguars are even occasionally spotted in the surrounding mountains.


At the conclusion of your approximate 90-minute stroll through the gardens' trail, return to the Visitor's Centre for some free time to relax, shop, browse or take in the fantastic surrounding views.

Silver Shop, Coastal Drive, Tropical Flowers and Los Arcos Lookout Point

Next, a stop is made at a silver shop to browse the jewellery and other items for sale. Afterward, re-board your coach and continue along a scenic coastal road to a beautiful area with a variety of tropical flowers. Here, a photo stop is made at a panoramic viewpoint for breath-taking panoramic vistas overlooking Los Arcos. Afterward, re-board your coach and commence the short drive back to the pier.

Mahahuitas and Snorkelling

Depart the pier via motorized catamaran for the scenic, approximately two-hour cruise to Mahahuitas, an area accessible only by sea. En route, pass by picturesque coastal scenery, where dolphin encounters are common occurrences. Majahuitas Cove is home to idyllic, white-sand beaches and crystal-clear waters, an ideal setting for snorkelling and kayaking. Upon arrival, receive your snorkelling and safety instructions and equipment, then begin your guided snorkelling session. Along the way, marvel at the colourful coral, tropical fish and marine life. Afterward, embark the catamaran and sail to Yelapa.


Yelapa, Lunch, Beach and Waterfall

Upon arrival at Yelapa, take a stroll through this charming fishing town and up to a beautiful cascading waterfall.
