Silversea Luxury Cruises A Ko Adang

Ko Adang

Ko Adang's steeply sloping peaks can be seen from quite a distance on approach to the island. This is the second biggest island within the Ko Tarutao Marine Park and has an offshore coral reef rich with marine life. In addition, Ko Adang is blessed with thickly forested hills, steep cliffs, and white-sand beaches. The massive park to which this all belongs covers 1,490 square kilometers (575 square miles) of land and water. View more

Just inland from the beach are a number of jungle trails that lead to plummeting waterfalls like the Pirates Falls that are rumored to have been used by pirates in the area as a freshwater source. Another attraction is the well-known 150-meter (just under 500-foot) high Chadoe Cliff. The hike to the top is through a bamboo forest with several lookouts including one that takes in Adang's craggy interior.
