Along the way, cycle along the Warehouse District, an UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest connecting warehouse district in the world.
Elbphilharmonie Concert Hall, Grand House, City Centre, Alster and Outer Alster Lakes
After a brief stop at the new concert hall, Elbphilharmonie, ride past the grand houses of Hamburg's traders, then continue on to the lovely city centre of Hamburg. Cycle along the Outer Alster Lake, which is one of the main landmarks of Hamburg. Admire the beautiful views of the noble residential districts, city's unique skyline and natural splendour, and stop for coffee and pastries at Alster Lake.
Jungfernstieg Blvd., St. Michael's Church, Old Town of Hamburg
Next, ride along Jungfernstieg Blvd. en route to Hamburg's impressive, neo-Renaissance-style Town Hall, which houses the government of the federal city-state. After a photo stop here, ride past St Michael's Church before heading back to the pier via the Old Town of Hamburg.
Please note: This tour involves an extensive amount of bicycling for approximately five miles-6.2 miles (about eight kilometres-10 kilometres), at times over uneven, unpaved, natural and cobblestone surfaces, off-road trails, and hills and inclines. This tour is recommended for guests who are in good physical condition, and able to ride an adult-sized bicycle. This tour is not suitable for pregnant guests, guest with neck and/or back problems, guests with heart and/or respiratory conditions, guests prone to motion sickness, guests with limited mobility, and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to wear lightweight, comfortable sportswear with flat, closed-toe sport shoes, and bring sun protection, raingear, a towel and change of clothing from the ship. Guests must be at least 12 years old to participate on this tour. Guests must be at least 5'3" (about 1.6 metres) to participate on this tour. Guests weighing more than 242 pounds (about 142 kilograms) may not participate on this tour. Guests are advised to bring small change in Euro coins, as some shops do not accept foreign currencies nor credit cards for small purchases. Guests may have to pay for public restroom facilities, usually up to one Euro per-person. Shops are closed on Sundays and bank holidays; only a few souvenir shops may be open during your bicycle tour. Safety equipment is provided, and must be worn at all times whilst bicycling. Guests should be aware of local traffic rules. A signed waiver is required to participate on this tour. This tour operates in all weather conditions; guests should be prepared for the possibility of rain. The tour sequence may vary.
