It provides a look at Acapulco that includes spectacular scenery, old and new parts of this much-touted holiday destination and one of its most talked about attractions, the Quebrada cliff divers. Departing from the port, head toward Caleta, Acapulco's first residential area which launched this destination to resort stardom. From here, continue down the winding road to the site of La Quebrada.
Cliff Diver Show
Watch in awe the dramatic performance of the world-famous cliff divers. Standing poised at the edge of a jagged promontory, the divers soar from the 115-foot (35-metre) cliff into the crashing surf below. Since the 1930s, the show has become an enduring symbol of the city. Please note that it is not uncommon for the divers to approach the crowd directly and persistently ask for a tip.
