DAY 1 - SINGAPORE / SIEM REAP (ANGKOR WAT)
Welcome to Singapore! Following disembarkation, transfer to the Singapore Changi International airport for your short flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival US, UK, and Canadian guests will be able to secure their Cambodian visas. Your representative will be waiting in the public arrivals area to transfer you to the hotel.
Check in at the hotel and freshen up before lunch is provided at a local restaurant. Then after lunch enjoy a city tour and a visit to the Angkor Museum. Later that night dinner will be served at the hotel.
Overnight at the Phum Baitang - Siem Reap
Please plan to travel with one small suitcase (maximum 20 kg / 44 lbs) per person. Luggage restrictions on internal Cambodian flights can be quite strict. The balance of your luggage will be held at the hotel in Singapore and delivered to you for the final night of this program.
DAY 2 - SIEM REAP (ANGKOR WAT)
Rise and shine for an early breakfast this morning before heading out to the temple complex for a full day of sightseeing. After meeting your guide this morning proceed to the Angkor Wat Temple complex. This 400 square kilometer (nearly 99,000 acres) World Heritage site is replete with temples to both Hindu and Buddhist deities.
Your first stop will be the city of Angkor Thom - a fortified Royal City built by King Jayavarman VII who ruled from 1181 to 1201. The city has five monumental gates and is encircled by a moat 100 meters wide (over 100 yards). In the center of the walled city are the city's most important monuments, including the Bayon Temple. It is a place of narrow corridors, steep flights of stairs and an amazing collection of towers decorated with more than 200 smiling faces.
As you continue through the site, your guide points out the mysterious Terrace of the Leper King, and the Terrace of the Elephants as you make your way to lunch at a local restaurant.
This afternoon spend several hours at Angkor Wat. Dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu in the 12th-century, the temple of Angkor Wat is world famous for its beauty and splendor. It features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world running along the outer gallery wall. A climb to the top, for those who can do it, is well worth it but remember that you must also climb down!
Note: During the visit of the Bakan tower of Angkor Wat temple, visitors are required to wear proper attire, meaning covered shoulders and knees as this temple is still considered as a sacred site (no shorts, miniskirt or short trousers). Children under twelve years old are not allowed to climb up this tower. It will be closed on Buddhist Sabbath Days, Buddhist religious days, four days a month in accordance with the Lunar Calendar.
Return to the hotel at the end of the day and enjoy a dinner.

DAY 3 - SIEM REAP (ANGKOR WAT)
In the morning, transfer from your hotel to meet a local family who will help you to prepare the offerings for the monks at a local pagoda. The family will lend you the Khmer costume and also assist you in dressing it up. After that, they will accompany you to the local pagoda where you will take place in a monk blessing to learn more about the Khmer tradition.
Later on, return to the local's house and enjoy an authentic Khmer lunch. A truly memorable experience.
Afterward, take a short boat trip on the Tonle Sap Lake to visit a local village and discover the daily local life on the water. Enjoy the beautiful sunset on the lake to end the day's visit. (depending on the weather condition of the day).
Return to the hotel, where dinner and a dance show will be provided.
Overnight at the Phum Baitang
DAY 4 - SIEM REAP / SINGAPORE
After breakfast, visit the Bayon School, a pastry school in the heart of Siem Reap. This school trains young girls in the pastry business and all cakes sold help finance thier continued education and training.
After that a short coffee break, depart for a visit to the Angkor Silk Farm, located about 20 minutes from Siem Reap's downtown. Visit the different workshops located down the narrow, yet peaceful alleyways. Learn about the complex process which starts with cultivating mulberry trees and ends with fine threads from the silkworms cocoons. Watch with wonder as the artisans turn thread into splendid silk fabrics.
Lunch is served at a local restaurant. This afternoon, your local guide will assist with your check-in at the airport. Upon arrival in Singapore, and after you have claimed your luggage, transfer back to the hotel for check-in. Dinner this evening is on your own account.
Overnight at the Raffles - Singapore
DAY 5 - SINGAPORE
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning before checking out. Please note the standard check-out time is 12:00 noon. If your flight departs late this evening, you may wish to make advance arrangement to hold your room for late check-out. Please contact Silversea to make these arrangements.

The availability of this service is subject to change. It remains the responsibility of the guest to obtain all appropriate visas on a timely basis for travel.
Passports must be valid at least 6 months after departure date from Cambodia.
Along with the photos required for the Cambodian visa, all participants are required to have their photo taken at the entrance gate to the Angkor Wat temple complex. At this time, there is no charge for this service.
This tour is accessible to all guests; however there is extensive walking and in some cases steep stairs in the temple complexes, where uneven ground is unsuitable for wheelchairs or mobility issues.
Consult your physician for information regarding vaccinations or medications which may be appropriate for your state of health.
Please note that several of the temples that will be visited Cambodia are active places of worship. Dress should be appropriately respectful - shorts and sleeveless shirts are not appropriate. Shoes should have closed toes and heels.
