The 27-hole course is designed by world-renowned golf course designers, Thompson Wolveridge and Associates which is helmed by 5-time British Open Champion, Peter Thompson. Utilising the terrain's natural undulations and the lakes' natural beauty, combined with over 25,000 replanted trees and shrubs, the result is a scenic landscape that is most breathtaking. This programme offers the flexibility of shopping and sightseeing at your own pace.


Depart by coach from the pier for a scenic drive to Kuala Lumpur, traveling past the township of Klang and viewing the beautiful passing sights. En-route, an experienced guide will be happy to answer your questions while pointing out several points of interest.


Following the one-hour drive from Port Klang, the coach delivers you to the Pavillion Shopping Complex. With over 450 retail shops spread across seven levels offering some of the world's most renowned brand names, you will be spoilt for choice. Within walking distance are Starhill, Lot 10, Bukit Bintang Plaza and Berjaya Times Square. From here, follow your own programme - your itinerary, on your schedule.


At the appointed time, meet the waiting coach where you originally arrived at the Pavilion Shopping Complex for the transfer back to Port Klang.


Please note: This coach transfer tour is intended for guests wishing to pursue their own interests in Kuala Lumpur. It provides round-trip coach transportation, accompanied by an English-speaking hostess. Lunch is on your own.

Depart the pier for the scenic, approximately 1.5-hour drive to the limestone outcrops of the Batu Caves. Upon arrival, ascend the 272 steps en route to the Cave Temple to view elaborately painted sculptures of various Hindu gods inside. From here, proceed for a guided tour of the Royal Selangor Factory. Royal Selangor is the world's largest producer of quality pewter housewares and gifts, and internationally recognised for its innovative design and superior craftsmanship.


Petronas Twin Towers

Afterwards, proceed to the magnificent, world-renowned Petronas Twin Towers, the world's tallest twin buildings. This 88-story structure soars to a dizzying height of 1,483 feet (452 metres) above the city skyline.


Following a photo stop at the entrance to the Petronas Twin Towers, re-board your coach and commence the approximately 65-minute drive back to the pier.


Please note: This tour requires an extensive amount of walking for approximately 1.2 miles (about two kilometres), with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach, 272 steps up and again down at the Batu Cave and approximately 28 steps at the other sites visited. This tour is not suitable for guests who are claustrophobic, guests with limited mobility and those who utilise a wheelchair. Lightweight, comfortable clothing, flat, closed-toe walking shoes and sun protection are recommended. Shorts, short pants or short skirts are not permitted in the Batu Caves.

Klang and Local Home Visit

Depart the pier for the scenic, approximatelyone hour and 15-minute drive to Klang. The former capital of the state of Selangor, Klang has become a major industrial town. Upon arrival, a visit is made to a traditional Malay home. Meet your hosts and be treated to coffee or tea served with small cakes in their home. An interpreter is on-hand to assist the flow of conversation. Shoes must be removed at the Malay house prior to entering; you may wish to bring socks.


Tengku Kelana Indian Community & Alam Shah Royal Palace

Next, re-board your coach and drive to the Tengku Kelana Indian Muslim Community Mosquee, located within Little India.The mosque craters to the Indian Muslim community.Historically important, this was the centre where Southern Indians migrated to Malaya in the 18th century. . After a photo stop here, proceed for another photo stop at the Alam Shah Royal Palace, residence of the former Sultan of Selangor.


Little India

Your tour concludes with a visit to Little India. Upon arrival, experience the sights and sounds of one of Klang's oldest districts. Some free time is made available here to browse the shops for souvenirs and exotic Indian spices, or perhaps purchase a garland of fresh flowers.


Following your visit, commence the approximately 45-minute drive back to the pier.

The former site of the Royal Selangor Club, Independence Square overlooks the main historical buildings of the city. After a photo stop here, walk over to the Jamek Mosque. Built in 1909, it is the oldest mosque in Kuala Lumpur, and features graceful arches and domes that are reminiscent of Moorish architecture.


Central Market, Sze Yeh Temple & Chinatown

Your walk continues on to the Central Market. Once a bustling wet market, this heritage building houses many shops offering antique clocks, jewellery, gems, woodcarvings, batik, pewter, and more. A stop is then made at a nearby coffee shop for a refreshing cup of local 'pull tea' and 'pratta ' bread. From here, walk to Chinatown for a visit to the Sze Yeh Temple, believed to be the oldest Chinese temple in Chinatown. 'Chi-Chong-Kai', as the local Chinese call Chinatown, is a fun place to shop and eat.


Sri Maha Mariamman Temple

Next, visit the Sri Maha Mariamman Temple. Built in 1968 to worship Goddess Mariamman, the temple features an approximately 75-foot-high (about 23-metre-high), five-tiered, pyramid-shaped tower adorned 228 Hindu gods and goddesses. Stop for lunch following your temple visit. Shoes must be removed at the Sri Maha Mariaman Temple prior to entering; you may wish to bring socks.


Petronas Twin Towers & Shopping

After lunch, a photo stop is made at the entrance to the magnificent, world-renowned Petronas Twin Towers, the world's tallest twin buildings. This 88-story structure soars to a dizzying height of 1,483 feet (452 metres) above the city skyline. Your tour concludes with approximately one hour of free time at the Suria KLCC, a modern, six-level shopping mall. You can sit and relax, or browse for mementoes in the wide array of retail shops.


At the designated time, re-join your coach and commence the approximately 80-minute drive back to the pier.

Depart the pier for the scenic, approximately 75-minute drive to the National Monument. Designed by acclaimed sculptor Felix De Weldon, this 50-foot-high (15-metre-high) bronze monument was constructed in 1966. After a photo stop here, re-board your coach and drive past the railway station en route to a photo stop at Independence Square. The former site of the Royal Selangor Club, Independence Square overlooks the main historical buildings of the city.

Jamek Mosque and KL Tower

Next, proceed to the Jamek Mosque. Built in 1909, it is the oldest mosque in Kuala Lumpur, and features graceful arches and domes that are reminiscent of Moorish architecture. After a photo stop here, your tour concludes with a visit to KL Tower. Upon arrival, proceed to the Observation Deck for breath-taking panoramic views of the city.

Depart the pier for the scenic, approximately 75-minute drive to the National Museum. The country's premier museum, the National Museum is a repository for the nation's rich heritage and history. Built in 1963, the façade features a Minangkabau-styled roof with two impressive front murals. The museum showcases four main galleries; 'Early History', 'Malay Kingdoms', 'Colonial Era' and 'Malaysia Today'.


Independence Square & Heritage Building

Next, re-board your coach and proceed to Independence Square. A photo stop is made at the historical site where the Union Flag was lowered, and the Malaysian flag was raised for the very first time, at midnight on 31 August 1957. The flagpole is the highest in the world, towering 328 feet (100 meters) above the ground. Surrounding Independence Square is the Sultan Abdul Samad Building, which houses the Federated Malay States administration and High Court.


Central Market

Leaving Independence Square, take a guided stroll to the Central Market, one of Kuala Lumpur's most popular landmarks. Built in 1928, this former wet market war revamped and converted into a handicrafts outlet in the early-1980s, in. Upon arrival, some free time is made available to browse the Central Market for local handicrafts and souvenirs at your leisure. Following your visit, proceed for a Malaysian lunch at a local restaurant.


Petronas Twin Tower

After lunch, re-board your coach and head to the Petronas Twin Towers, twin skyscrapers in Kuala Lumpur. At a height of approximately 1,483 feet (about 452 metres), they were the tallest buildings in the world from 1998 to 2004, and remain the tallest twin towers in the world today. The buildings are a landmark of Kuala Lumpur, along with nearby Kuala Lumpur Tower. Take in amazing panoramic views over the city during a visit to the 42nd-storey SkyBridge connecting the two towers, and 88th-floor Observatory of the eastern tower. At the conclusion of your visit, re-board your coach and commence the approximately 75-minute drive back to the pier.
