Cable Car Ride
Board the clear, bubble-shaped gondola and enjoy a ride up the mountainside on a 42-degree incline. Explore the summit of 2,300-foot (700-metre) Mount Mat Cincang, and marvel at the spectacular views of the Andaman Sea and numerous islands that make up the Langkawi archipelago.
Tg Rhu Resort
After your descent from the summit, continue driving to the north-eastern tip of mystical Langkawi and the 5-star accommodation of Tg Rhu Resort. It is nestled in the cool shade of rustling Casuarina trees on a 2.5 km white-sand beach kissed by the aquamarine waters of the Andaman Sea. Depart the pier and begin your tour with a 40-minute drive to Kelim Jetty - located at the north-eastern tip of the island. En route, your journey will take you past Malay kampongs (villages), rice fields, rubber plantations and fruit orchards. Upon arrival, view the delta of the river that feeds the mangrove swamps' ecological system.
River Safari Cruise
Board your motorised, eight-seater boat for a cruise along the Sungei Kelim. Stops will be made to visit a fish farm established by the local people, to observe the wild eagles and for a walk through a limestone cave, known for its stalactites, stalagmites and bats.
Rejoin your coach for a relaxing drive back to the Awana Star Cruise Jetty.

Thi small mausoleum is famous for the legend connected with it. Listen as the guide tells the tragic story of Princess Mahsuri and the curse she cast on the island. In the vicinity, visit a replica of a traditional Kedah Malay House, built without the use of nails.
Continue driving to the northern tip of Langkawi and the white sandy beach, Tanjung Rhu, for a photo stop. En route, pause for a demonstration to see how latex is skilfully tapped from the rubber tree.
On your return drive, visit Galleria Perdana and view exhibits of over 2,500 state gifts and awards presented to Malaysia's longest serving former Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad.
Afterwards, continue southward Kuah Town for a photo stop at Eagle Square before returning back to the pier and the ship.

Depart the pier for the scenic, approximately 40-minute drive to the Kelim Jetty, located at the north-eastern tip of Langkawi Island. River Safari Cruise and Limestone Cave
Next, embark your kayak and begin a guided kayaking tour through the mangrove forest. Along the way, hear the sounds of the forest's denizens, and marvel at the surrounding flora and fauna. Stops are made for a visit to a local fish farm, and a guided walk through a limestone cave known for its stalactites, stalagmites and bats. Upon returning to the Kelim Jetty, re-board your coach and commence the approximately 40-minute drive back to the pier.
Please note: This tour involves an extensive amount of activity and walking for approximately 656 yards (about 600 metres), at times over uneven surfaces and inclines, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and embark/disembark the boat, 16 steps at the jetty and steps at the limestone cave. This tour is recommended for guests who are in good physical condition and able to kayak. This tour is not suitable for guests prone to seasickness, guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to wear lightweight, comfortable clothing with flat, rubber-soled walking shoes, and bring sun protection, insect repellent and a towel from the ship. Guests must be at least 15 years old to participate on this tour. Space on this tour is very limited; we suggest you book in advance to avoid disappointment.
Discover Langkawi's scenic attractions and get acquainted with the island's cultural and artistic heritage. From the pier, take a drive to the Oriental Village - a resort-style, duty-free shopping centre. Shortly after leaving the pier, a photo stop will be made at the Telaga Harbour Park marina.

Upon arrival at the Oriental Village, board the bubble-shaped gondola and enjoy a ride up the mountainside on a 42-degree incline. Explore the summit of 2,300-foot (700 metre) Mount Mat Cincang, and marvel at the spectacular views of the Andaman Sea and numerous islands that make up the Langkawi archipelago. Following your descent, proceed to Atma Alam.

Batik Art Village (Atma Alam)
At this village you can observe the traditional art of beautiful fabric designs being created by accomplished artists using wax and dyes.
Rice is the bread of Asia, and a staple dish at every meal. On your way back to the ship, pause for a visit at this place resembling a delightful park. Visitors cross a bridge over mini-rice fields into a square with a museum and exhibits on display. The Rice Garden Museum is dedicated to the humble grain and its cultivation.
Leaving Laman Padi, head back to Tanjung Malai and the Star Cruise Jetty.
