Day 1 - SANTIAGO
Upon arrival at Santiago Airport, meet your guide to head for a short sightseeing tour before transferring to your hotel for check-in.
The remainder of the day is at your leisure.

Day 2 - SANTIAGO / EASTER ISLAND
Breakfast is served this morning before you have an early start with a transfer to the airport for your flight to Easter Island. An in-flight snack will be served. Upon arrival in the early afternoon, you are met and transferred to your hotel for check-in.
Spend the rest of the day exploring the area independently.The Hangaroa has several optional tours you can arrange directly with the hotel like trekking the Poike volcanoes, relaxing on the Rapa Nui beach, or experience the Tahai sunset overlooking the surrounding archaeological sites. Lunch and Dinner is served this evening at the hotel.

Day 3 - EASTER ISLAND
After a leisurely breakfast meet your guide and head along the southeast coast at Ahu Hanga Te'e in the sector of Vaihu. From Vaihu continue on to the Ahu Akahanga also known as the "platform of the king". According to legends this is the site where the bones of the first king of Easter Island (Hotu Matua) are buried. A short drive follows to Ahu Tongariki, formerly the largest platform on the Island destroyed by a tidal wave in 1960, but since reconstructed. From there, continue to the spectacular Rano Raraku quarry, so symbolic of the island and the original "factory" of the moais. The gigantic statues cover the inner and outer slopes of the volcano; they can be admired in the different stages of production, from carving in the rock to upright position, and lying face down on their intended road to their platforms.
The tour continues along the north coast and passes through La Perousse Bay to stop at Ahu Te Pito Kura. This is the site of the largest moai ever transported and erected onto an ahu. The moai paro stood at 9.8 meters with an estimated weight of 82 tons. Its top knot alone weighs approximately 11 tons. It is also believed to be the last moai to be toppled, sometime in the 1840's.
The next stop is the beach of Anakena where according to native legend Hotu Matua first landed on Rapa Nui. At this site you will see the Ahu Nau Nau partially restored in 1978 by Rapa Nui Archeologist Sergio Rapu. Located in this same area is the Ahu Ature Huki. The moai standing on this ahu was the first moai to ever be re-erected onto an ahu. This was done by a group of islanders working with Thor Heyerdahl and the Norwegian expedition in 1956. A tasty boxed lunch is served in a shaded area at Anakena Beach or at Rano Raraku Volcano. A Boxed lunch will be provided during your full day tour.
From Anakena, take the inland road for a visit to the incredible Rano Kau volcano and the Orongo ceremonial village, site of the famous "birdman" competitions that came to an abrupt halt 150 years ago when the first Christian Missionaries arrived to the island. From this peak, look out at the panoramic view of miles and miles of ocean, and the tiny islands of Moto Iti, Moto Kau Kau and Moto Nui.
Enjoy your final dinner on the island this evening.

Day 4 - EASTER ISLAND / SANTIAGO
After breakfast at the hotel enjoy a couple hours of leisure time. Transfer to the airport for your return flight to Santiago. An in-flight snack is served.
Upon arrival, you are met and transferred back to the hotel. The rest of the evening is at your leisure. Dinner is on your own account.

Day 5 - SANTIAGO
After breakfast and check-out, before heading to the Santiago Airport for your flight home.

In order to issue the flight tickets between Santiago and Easter Island, the following information must be submitted to Silversea cruises at time of confirmation:

Luggage Information:
Please have one small bag packed and ready to go with you to Easter Island. Luggage is restricted to a maximum of 44 pounds (23 kilograms) in soft bags. The remainder of your luggage will be stored at your hotel in Santiago until your return. Weight restrictions are very strict on domestic Chilean flights; overweight charges are approximately US $7 per extra 2.2 pounds (one kilogram). Guests are responsible for any charges imposed by the airlines for overweight luggage. Dress on the island is very casual.
