Guests must be in possession of an Indian visa prior to arrival in India and should schedule their departing flights home from Delhi International Airport.
DAY 1 - MUMBAI / DELHI
Disembark your Silversea cruise where you will be met by the local representative and transferred to the Mumbai airport for your flight to Delhi. Once you have completed customs and immigration formalities and collected your luggage take a short tour of a nearby Sikh Temple. After stopping for lunch the representative will assist with your transfer to the hotel where dinner will be provided later in the evening.

DAY 2 - NEW DELHI / AGRA
Enjoy a leisurely morning with breakfast at the hotel. Your guide will assemble the Silversea group for an early lunch there as well before your departure for the 3.5 hour drive to Agra (with a comfort stop en route).
Proceed to Agra Fort, the town's second important attraction after the Taj Mahal. The massive fort contains within its 1.5 mile-long (2.5 km-long), red sandstone walls the imperial city of the Mughal rulers. It comprises fairy-tale palaces, audience halls and two beautiful mosques. Founded in the 16th century, the vast complex experienced many additions by subsequent rulers. Here Shah Jehan was held captive by his son and spent his days gazing out from his room toward the Taj Mahal across the river. Leave Agra Fort and head to The Oberoi Amarvilas Hotel for check-in and lunch.
The luxury hotel is a mere 650 yards (600 meters) from the Taj Mahal, thus offering you a first glimpse of the stunningly beautiful mausoleum. Check-in and freshen up before departing for a sunset visit to the famed Taj Mahal. The unique beauty of this magnificent mausoleum in pure white marble provides a breathtaking image as soon as you emerge from the arched entry gateway. Return to the hotel at the end of your visit and enjoy dinner served at the hotel.

DAY 3 - AGRA / NEW DELHI
Early this morning, return to the monument - a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal - Shah Jehan's enduring monument to love. Emperor Shah Jehan, fifth of the great Mughal emperors was devoted to his wife Mumtaz Mahal, meaning literally jewel of the palace. She died at the age of 39 giving birth to their fourteenth child. The shah envisioned a memorial that would surpass anything the world had ever seen. Thousands of labourers and skilled craftsmen from Persia, Turkey, France and Italy were commissioned to construct this incredible masterpiece. The rays of the rising sun make the monument a wonder to behold.
Return to the hotel for breakfast.
After lunch, return to New Delhi (3.5 hour drive) with enroute comfort stops. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon sightseeing in New Dehli. Highlights include Humanyun's Tomb, one of the most beautiful tombs of the Mughal era; Lutyens Delhi, the cities poshest neighborhood that dates from the days of the British Empire, among others. After dinner, the rest of the evening is at your leisure.

DAY 4 - NEW DELHI
After breakfast this morning, check-out of the hotel and be transfer to the Delhi airport for your international flight home.

Please pack one small bag to take with you to Agra. Larger pieces of luggage can be left at the hotel in New Delhi, so please plan to travel with a small overnight bag. Weight restrictions are very strict on domestic Indian flights (maximum 33lbs/15kg for checked luggage 7kg for cabin luggage). Include lightweight clothing and comfortable walking shoes. Remember to bring sunscreen, a hat and your camera. Shoe covers are provided for the interior visit of Taj Mahal mausoleum.

This Land Program requires an extensive amount of walking with many steps to climb at the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. It is not suitable for guests with limited mobility or those who utilize a wheelchair. This programme involves fairly long drives. The driving distance between Delhi and Agra is now 3-3.5 hours. All vehicles utilised are the best available; they may not always be to western standards.
