Discover the rich heritage and highlights of Haines in the comfort of a classic 1930s or 1940s vintage automobile. Step back in time on a tour through historic Fort Seward. The charming white buildings and broad parade grounds stand as a grand monument to turn-of-the-century architecture. Continue along the coastal roads to Picture Point for a view of Silver Shadow in the beautiful harbour below. On this unique orientation of Haines, you will see Chilkat Tlingit totem poles and native clan houses at Fort Seward. You may even stop at a local spring to sample fresh Alaskan water. Afterwards, make you way back to the pier.
