As the inaugural ship for Silversea Cruises, Silver Cloud epitomises everything that is Silversea. Designed to provide the most intimate of sailing experiences, a Silver Cloud cruise provides 296 privileged guests with the luxury of space and the ability to slip into exotic ports off the beaten path. Silver Cloud is often described by returning guests as their own private yacht, their home away from home. Following an extensive top-to-bottom makeover, a "new" Silver Cloud is set to debut in November 2012 with fresh new décor and a number of structural enhancements. For more details on the extensive Silver Cloud refurbishment, read the full press release.
2013 finds the Silver Cloud ship in sunny South America and traversing Panama to explore Mexico and the Caribbean before a transatlantic crossing for springtime in the Mediterranean and a summer of travelling through Northern European, Iceland, the Baltic, the British Isles, the North Cape and the White Sea. Silver Cloud heads back to the Mediterranean in autumn before returning to a special season in South America that features a 17-day Amazon adventure cruise and a 16-day holiday cruise from Buenos Aires to Valparaiso.
2014 begins with Silver Cloud soaking up the sights and
sounds of South America. Then it’s off to the Caribbean for a series of 7-day
roundtrip San Juan sailings before commencing a European season that extends
from April through November. Highlights
include a visit to the Normandy coast coinciding with the 70th anniversary of
D-Day (V1417), a journey into the remote White Sea (V1420) and a much-requested
roundtrip Reykjavik cruise (V1424) to explore Greenland. Silver Cloud
returns to the warmer Caribbean waters at year’s end and entices with a festive
new holiday cruise through Central America.
