Dayo studies the behaviour of birds in relation to their environment, and brings an infectious passion to bird watching. He has a Master of Science in Conservation Biology and a PhD in Ecology. Both of these research programmes opened up the world of birds and travel, enabling him to watch and talk about birds in different parts of the world.
He presently works for BirdLife International and is based at the West African Sub-Regional Office in Accra, Ghana. He works as the Coordinator of the African-Eurasian Migratory Landbirds Working Group.
Dayo has a healthy sense of adventure, a wide range of interests and the goal of experiencing diverse forms of nature and cultures.
