The Reverend Richard Martin obtained his Master of Arts degree in Modern History from St. John's College, Oxford, after school in London, and went on to teach History and English for ten years at Harrow School. He was ordained as an Anglican priest in 1985 and became Chaplain and Head of Theology at Magdalen College School, Oxford.

Richard has led many Art and Architecture tours to France, Italy, Spain and Portugal. He was the English Chaplain at San Remo on the Italian Riviera and continues to help in an Oxford parish when he isn’t sailing the seven seas.
