Lewis Falb, Ph.D. Drama Professor
Lewis W. Falb is a retired college professor and academic administrator. He served as Senior Director of the Division of Arts, Sciences, and Humanities at New York University’s School of Continuing Education. Before that he was Associate Dean of the Adult Division of the New School for Social Research as well as its Director of Programs in Humanities and Theater. He was a Fulbright Scholar in Paris, and after earning his doctorate at Yale, he taught courses in French and Comparative Literature at Yale, Vassar, and Boston University.
He is the author of several books on French and American theater as well as publications on the life and work of Sarah Bernhardt. Pofessor Falb has been a guest speaker on cultural history at Sotheby’s in New York and an enrichment lecturer for Silversea for the past 15 years.
