Martin Aronson, Civil Trial Lawyer

Martin Aronson is a litigator in Boston with vast experience as a civil trial lawyer, having tried countless cases before juries in Massachusetts. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Boston College Law School. He was managing partner of a Boston firm, White, Inker, Aronson, PC, until 2001. Since that time, the major portion of his legal work has been as a Mediator specializing in resolution of litigation matters.
In addition to his work as a trial lawyer, Marty is an Adjunct Professor at Boston College Law School where he has taught courses in Trial Advocacy and Dispute Negotiations for 30 years. He has lectured multiple times on behalf of Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, and has served as guest lecturer at the Harvard Law School Trial Advocacy Program and at Northeastern University. He is past President of the Massachusetts Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). Marty has been designated as a ‘Massachusetts Super Lawyer’ by the publishers of Boston Magazine. He holds an AV Preeminent 5.0 (out of 5) rating from the Martindale-Hubbell Attorney Directory, a rating granted to a select group of attorneys that indicates he has attained the height of professional excellence. He is currently a member of the Advisory Board of Senior Partners for Justice and has represented clients on a pro bono basis for that organization.
Marty currently teaches a course entitled Courtroom Cinema at the Harvard Institute for Learning in Retirement (HILR) and at Brandeis University’s Lifelong Learning Institute (BOLLI). These courses are consistently oversubscribed, in large part because of Marty’s dynamic and provocative teaching and leadership style.
