Travel writer Chris Roberts is a veteran when it comes to the Caribbean and Panama Canal. As a port lecturer/destination consultant with cruise lines, he’s been in the Panama Canal a hundred times and never got his feet wet once. His writing credits include Porthole Magazine, Miami Herald Media, Latitudes (in-flight magazine for American Eagle airline), Examiner.com and a variety of other print and broadcast venues. His most recent article “Cruising to Cuba: When will the wait be over?” appears in the Florida
Caribbean Cruise Association’s quarterly magazine Cruising. Originally from Minneapolis, Chris is based in Hollywood, Florida, and a journalism graduate from the University of Minnesota.
