Deka Deka Island,
Although Deka Deka is considered part of the Louisiades Archipelago, the island is just south of Milne Bay, close to the southeastern tip of the mainland. Deka Deka is one of the smallest of the Samarai Islands measuring only 300 by 200 meters (1000 by 650 feet) at its longest and widest. Despite its small size however, it is a tropical paradise being both densely forested and uninhabited. Healthy corals surround the island and there is a small beach on its northwestern corner with many reef fishes thriving just offshore.
