Day 2 - October 10, 2011 - Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands

Around every bend guests experienced spectacular views of a seascape graced with white sandy coves and numerous islets scattered across azure waters.

Day 3 - October 11, 2011 - Jost Van Dyke, B.V.I.

I was to be on No Fear for the morning, enjoying a sail around the island and snorkeling at a couple of tropical reefs.

Day 4 - October 12, 2011 -  Montserrat, BVI

I drove the Zodiac towards Plymouth, the town that was abandoned in 1997. Buried deep in ash and volcanic debris, the landscape resembles a lunar landscape and lies within the volcanic exclusion zone.

Day 5 - October 13, 2011 -  Roseau, Dominica

Along the way we stopped along the road and had a few places where we could look out over the Atlantic at the stunning vistas that the island has to offer.

Day 6 - October 14, 2011 - Bequia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines

An easy Zodiac ride brought our guests to the jetty of Port Elizabeth, the main town of Beqiua. From there the excursion, a hike across the island to the Sea Turtle sanctuary, started.

Day 7 - October 15, 2011 - At Sea

Cocktails could be had before it was time for “Dinner under the Stars” set up out on deck.

Day 8 - October 16, 2011 - Los Roques Archipelago National Park, Venezuela

White sand, turquoise water, mangroves, lots of birds and clear skies … a truly spectacular seascape.

Day 9 - October 17, 2011 - Oranjestad, Aruba

Day 10 - October 18, 2011 - At Sea en route to Cartagena, Colombia

Just before teatime, a guest found two small birds on the outside deck just taking a little rest before continuing their voyage.

Day 11 - October 19, 2011 - Cartagena, Colombia

From the markets, our next stop was The Heredia Theater – an amazing place built to resemble the Old Theater of Cuba.

Day 12 - October 20, 2011 - San Blas, panama

Our landing was one filled with colourful treats, from dances performed with rattles and flutes and explained by one of the community elders, to the beautifully embroidered molas that must take days to complete.
