Air temperature: 21° C

Travelling from many destinations to join the Silver Explorer at her berth in Dublin, our new guests represent many nations, including the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand, the USA, Russian Federation and South Africa. The guests hastened to unpack and settle into their welcoming suites prior to the mandatory safety briefing, which was followed by a Zodiac briefing. All this was completed before we sailed away in the beautiful early evening sunshine.

Guests were invited to The Theatre for an introduction of Department Heads and all the Expedition Team members, and then enjoyed their first evening meal in The Restaurant, rounding off the arrival day in a suitably jovial manner.
