Learn how to sort, clean, store and roll a cigar - at the Graycliff Cigar Company, you can become a torcedore in a few hours during this Silver Shore Collection.

Depart the pier for the short transfer to Graycliff Hotel and Restaurant.  The lesson begins with the history of tobacco, where the best leaves come from, and why you blend certain leaves together to make the award winning Graycliff cigars. Once you've mastered the art, learn how to light and savour your creation.

The Graycliff Cigar Company began production in January 1997 in Nassau, The Bahamas. What then began as a single roller in the restaurant entrance way has now expanded to an award winning boutique Cigar Company with 16 master rollers, each an expert in their various format.

Graycliff Cigar Company's original blend - The Graycliff - was blended by the late Master Torcedore Avelino Lara. Once Fidel Castro's personal roller, Lara was famous for his creations at the El Laguito Factory outside of Havana, where he created blends for Cohiba, Davidoff and among others.

Since Lara's retirement in 2000, Enrico Garzaroli and Paolo Garzaroli have collaborated on creating all of the new blends manufactured at the award-winning Graycliff Cigar Company from the Graycliff Professionale to the more affordable lines: Cabinet Selection, G2 and Bahiba (available only in The Bahamas). Each blend is created to please the palate of different cigar smokers - from the buttery Emerald to the smooth and silky Chateau Grand Cru and powerful Espresso.

Graycliff Cigars' numerous awards include: France's Club Cigare's 2001 Cigar of the Year Award; The Robb Report's Best of the Best in 2003 for the Crystal, the Espresso in 2004 and Chateau Grand Cru in 2006; and many accolades from Top25Cigars.com including Best Boutique Cigar Company.

Participants receive a Graycliff Cigar Rolling Certificate.

Excursions

Spend the day exploring Nassau both above and below the ocean. Your tour begins with a transfer from the pier by boat to the Sea Gardens Marine Park. After boarding the Seaworld Explorer, you will take a tour of the underwater world in this custom built, comfortable, and air conditioned vessel. Here you can view all types of sea life that lives in the crystal clear water that surrounds this island.

Upon completing the underwater portion of the tour, a coach and knowledgeable guide await you to take you on a tour of Nassau. Sights include Bay Street, Rawson's Square, Parliament buildings, Supreme Court and a stop at Fort Fincastle, sitting atop one of the highest points on Nassau and adjacent to the Queen's Staircase. After re-boarding the bus, you will drive past the Governor's Mansion before returning to the pier.

Please note: This tour requires a minimal amount of activity. Guests must be able participate in a minimal amount of easy walking over short distances, with some steep steps in and out of the Semi-sub. The semi-sub may not be exclusive to Silversea.

Excursions

Explore the underwater paradise of the Bahamas on this two-site snorkelling adventure.

After a brief transfer to the dive shop and an orientation where you will be given your equipment, your custom built dive boat will head out into the crystal clear Bahamain waters. Your first stop on this stunning two-site snorkelling adventure will be to one of Nassau's many beautiful shallow reef. At these sites, typically the bottom is at 10-25 feet. We choose the exact site at the time of the trip based e weather conditions. Our goal is to find you the calmest water with the most marine life each day. The coral formations and abundance of fish and other sea life makes the Bahamian coast line a particularly exciting place to snorkel.

After exploring the crystal clear water at your first dive site you will return to the boat and then continue on to your second location. You will either move to a different shallow reef- every reef has its own features and highlights- or snorkel over one of the many shallow water wrecks off of the Nassuvian Coast.  While the wrecks tend to be a bit deeper than the shallow reefs, they are big enough to deliver quite an impression.

After completing your second snorkelling dive you will climb back aboard the boat and head toward the pier.

Please note: Snorkel equipment provided; swimsuits should be worn under beach-type clothing. Please remember to bring your sunscreen, hat and towel.  Although minimal walking is required, guests must be able to manoeuvre in and out of the snorkel boat. Waterproof cameras are highly recommended. Guests may not snorkel if they have consumed alcohol.

Excursions

See the Bahamas from its best angle, under water. After a brief transfer from the ship to the dive shop, you will be given an orientation and necessary equipment.

The first dive on your adventure is on the stunning Bahamian sea wall. On average the walls begin at 40 feet, although some are deeper. Each dive site along the wall is different and unique in its own way. The wall is wonderful for both new and advanced divers. Your Divemater will take you on a dive up to 80 feet deep, depending on the qualification of the group, for a period of 30 minutes. After exploring this stunning and pristine underwater world, you will return to the surface and get back on-board the boat as you head to the next dive site.

Your second dive will either be a shallow reef or wreck dive, depending on conditions. There are many beautiful reefs off the coast of Nassau, each with different coral formations and fish life. You may explore a 100 foot freighter in 50 feet of water; or the famous James Bond wreck in 40 feet of water or you may dive on the Cessna used in the filming of JAWS. After this peaceful, yet stimulating two tank dive, the boat will return you to the pier and the ship.

Please note: This adventure tour for certified divers only requires an extensive amount of activity. Guests must have been diving within the last year; please bring your dive log.  You must present your certification card to participate and be able to complete a required medical questionnaire and liability waiver. The tour includes all tanks, weights and weight-belts.  You may wish to bring your own mask, BCD vest and snorkel.  Guests can rent equipment for a nominal price at on site. The actual dive site will be determined by the captain/dive master based on weather and sea conditions.  The dive profile will be determined by the dive master.  All dive activities are guided by a certified PADI Dive Master and or PADI Scuba Instructor.  Wear a swimsuit under a cover-up, plenty of sun protection and bring a towel and bottled water from the ship. The sighting of specific marine life cannot be guaranteed. A minimum number of guests is required to operate this tour.
