Colourful fanfare and lively entertainment welcomed Silver Spirit on her first visit to Singapore last Sunday, 3 April.
While docked at Singapore Cruise Centre, dancing big head dolls, a lion dance troupe and Bhangra dance performances organised by the Singapore Tourism Board not only entertained Silver Spirit's guests, but according to tradition, also bestowed good luck and fortune on the ship.

Plaque exchanges took place between Silver Spirit's Captain Marco Sangiacomo and local VIPs: Singapore Tourism Board's Chief Executive, Aw Kah Peng; Singapore Cruise Centre's Vice President, Augustine Png and Tan Chee Chye, Chairman of World Express, Silversea's ground services provider.
Also attending the festivities were Silversea executives Kenneth Watson, Chief Operating Officer, and Steve Odell, Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific.
Silver Spirit departed Singapore for Kuala Lumpur on Sunday, continuing her inaugural 119-day World Cruise, which concludes in Southampton on 19 May.
